A really interesting topic tonight

I have been on a spiritual journey over the last 4 years and have experienced some amazing changes and I have established a connection with God (the Creator) and a knowing that we are the spirit all enjoying this human experience

Since coming to America I have been grateful to meet some amazing people and one of the biggest things that I have noticed here is that the majority of people go to Church had have a real love and knowing for God and they find it usual to meet someone who had never been to church.

Growing up I was never forced to go church and my perception of religion and anything to do with God did not interest me at all. In fact, during school and in my Teens I was very much against anything that was to do with religion and my reasons was because of all the wars and violence which was 'justified' because of religion as well as all the links to peadofilia with many dirty priests around the world

In 2015 I started looking into the topic of Flat Earth and the awareness that came from this topic, allowed me to Know that we have a creator, we are part of that creation and life has so much more meaning.

I went on a Real Soul Journey searching for truth leading me onto a spiritual path which is about truly connecting to my feelings and using my own experiences to find my truths. Acceptance, Attachment and Discernment are 3 things that are crucial for this.

I have now experienced Church 3 times in 3 locations and have enjoyed the experiences.

A big shout out to Impact Church which is where I first went and it really surprised me and also higlighted how important and amazing it was to have a place of worship.

It was not like I had expected at all. I assumed church was, choir boys, priests and singing hymns. Naive to say the least.

It was full of families, everyone was dressed in normal clothes, there was a band and lots of singers and what stood out was the energy and love in the room

The pastor was great and shared a great story and linked every thing back to the scriptures. I loved this. There was a real community feel and a Love for God

I still find it hard to accept some of the stories and I will now be spending time learning more of the scriptures so I can have more understanding from other perspectives whilst also finding my truth.

This live I discuss many reasons why I can not accept these stories as a full truth and how TRUTH is always TRUTH, it is energy and how we communicate that to others can be done in 1000s of ways.

What I do not like and I will stand on this, is when someone says I am wrong because I have not let Jesus in my life, or when people judge based on not agreeing with their story, even though when I ask questions, they are unable to give me answers for me to accept as a truth.

I also do not agree with telling people that we are relying on a saviour and without the saviour we are unable to connect with God. I challenge this as I have a connection with God and many other people around the world have too.

With everything that has gone on, defending someone else Story as FACT is dangerous and dismissing other peoples truths that do not completely align with your owns is certainly not the Way
