#12 Horse Fly Bug fly tying instructions

I tied this fly on a small longer shank 12 hook, the foam is cut roughly twice the length of and a hook gap wide. This fly resembles a wasp possibly or a grass hopper. A rubber leg is cut in half and the half is cut in half again and these 2 pieces are used to make 4 legs. The legs are tied in at the half way point on the side of the fly, than you Palmer a hackle feather in and a deer body hair wing is tied in. I’ve had real good luck with these flies during a light rain and the bass and panfish smash them.
