SERIES INTRODUCTION:
With nothing of value in this world but humor, music and words, what will I offer?

I want to offer the gift of comedy, but have none to give here on the internet. So, I’ve got what I think is not only the best but also the most widely liked (by those who’ve seen it) and likeable, I think (for those who’ve not) of comedy shows — it’s for all tastes and shapes: under 30-minutes including song-and-dance numbers for the short-attention-spanned, and even cartoons and puppetry for the kids. The show can be found on the streaming services but I can provide the mp4’s on request. So that’s the comedy: The Mighty Boosh (2004-2007). But what’s a good comedy without a buddy, a gang or even a community to laugh along with. So I’m also offering a viewing calendar (see below). Please — binge on ahead, catch-up after or adhere to this only as you wish. But it’s got an episode every two or three days as my guess at an average between the season-bingers and the old-fashioned weekly viewers — Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. On the same days I watch an episode, I’ll be releasing an episode of the show and the podcast-version, featuring me talking about the latest episode as I watch parts again on mute, until I run out of things to say. Or I think I’m losing your attention. I imagine this show might be like coming home to a telly-watching buddy, if you don’t have one of your own. Additionally, the show might encourage you on occasion to send me a written message, a sound clip or a video of your own, with whatever you want to share with your fellow laughing partners. If you’ll allow, I’d like to pass on in one way or another what you send to The Community in my next episode.
I mentioned that I also have music of value in this world, but I don’t imagine ever making recorded music as good as the greats. But I know what gets me moving, so each episode will start as a discotheque, and continue in this manner, with background bops that are to my ears the most infectious dance recordings ever made. So if my words don’t interest you, and the comedy doesn’t suit you, at least you can enjoy the tunes and maybe find yourself having a little bop for yourself.

Yours.
