Stand by me (Lord)

We had big rainfalls recently in New Caledonia so I had decided to do some recordings at the Kava Bar of Malaoui with the sound of the engorged stream gushing by- as background with the conversations of the many clients... At a moment, two friends had sat down with their children at a table nearby and were playing a board game and in the recording, we could here rattles of chips on the board, and a father doing maths... and elsewhere one could here people talking...all these natural noises and sounds combined have contributed to the recording- no additional instruments to the guitar and the passing harmonica player...inviting the invisible to manifest through so called coincidences is intriguing and no easy feat!
Strange but listening to this: I think I hear a guitar riff other than mine somewhere in the recording and a percussive sound also... We now know that water has memory and that music affects water and we are made up of about 60% -70% water...

The song revisited here is of course the classic "Stand by me" from Ben E King but covered in a minor chord and differently... however the lyrics are respected!
We are all still staggering from the last 2 difficult years, and pointers are not predicting the approaching year an easy one...however, let us hold on tight, appreciate the last moments of this year to the fullest and standing vigilant for the next one! Thank you friends, family for the support throughout this year, and a thank you to the Lord Almighty for guiding us all until now... Be Strong! Be True! Be You!
Wishing you all Happy Peaceful Celebrations and a HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2023!
And to all kava drinkers and non-kava drinkers, to all vaxxed and non-jabbed wherever you may be: Maloku! Manouia! Good health! A votre santé!
