Idren Natural, Ras Muffet & Noel Zebulon - Itection dub plate

January 1 is Idren Natural’s birthday and I always think about him at this time of the year. I’m also January-born and he used to say this is our power time of the year. He’d say “Naphtali, keep it green and clean.” He was a helpful person, a connector, who loved his community and loved the elders. He was a highly spiritual person, not material. Our agreements were verbal - sometimes I wish we put them in writing because later we’d forget the terms. Before he left, he started a YouTube channel ‘Riddim Full Of Culture TV’ and invited many great producers and selectors to the program. I loved those sets - the Rasta vibes were strong. I see him as a bredrin and a teacher who defended the culture, loved good music, helped many people, and loved Rastafari to the max.
