HAITIANS KILLING DOMINICANS: CIELO GARCÍA

Fausta Antonia Sena García, known as “Cielo”, was 14 years old when she was the target of a wild machete attack in the town of Río La Peñita River, in Pedro Brand, in the Dominican Republic. The incident, which captured world attention, occurred in May 2017.

The suspect would be a man who, when rejected by the girl, gave him 24 thrusts until he almost dismembered his arms. The aggressor, identified as “Jefry” and of Haitian origin, tried to decapitate the minor, but the machete had a small opening in which the necklace he was wearing was stuck. Cielo’s screams alerted the locals and the attacker escaped.
