Is Real Christianity Easy or Hard? Does Being An Israelite Make Life Easier or Harder (Hebrew Roots)

2 Timothy 2:3-12 (AMP2015) ~ Take with me your share of HARDSHIP [passing through the difficulties which you are called to endure], like a good soldier of Messiah Yahshua (aka Jesus Christ / Yeshua ). No soldier in active service gets entangled in the [ordinary business] affairs of civilian life; [he avoids them] so that he may please the One who enlisted him to serve. And if anyone competes as an athlete [in competitive games], he is not crowned [with the wreath of victory] unless he competes according to the rules. The hard-working farmer [who labors to produce crops] ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops. Think over the things I am saying [grasp their application], for the Master will grant you insight and understanding in everything. Remember Messiah Yahshua [the ever-living Master who has] risen from the dead, [as the prophesied King] descended from David [king of Israel], according to my gospel [the good news that I preach], for that [gospel] I am SUFFERING even to [the point of] wearing chains like a criminal; but the word of Elohim is not chained or imprisoned! For this reason I [am ready to] patiently ENDURE all things for the sake of those who are the elect (Elohim's chosen ones), so that they too may obtain the salvation which is in Messiah Yahshua and with it the reward of eternal glory. This is a faithful and trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; If we ENDURE, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He will also deny us;

Straitway Life Bible Commentary From a Hebrew Roots Perspective For 01/01/2023. Why do unbelievers seem to have it so easy but Israelites and biblical Christians have life so hard? Is the lifestyle of a true disciple of Yahshua ( Jesus Christ ) ever comfortable, easy, and without hardship? Are all believers in Messiah called to suffer persecution and difficulties in this life? What about the promised blessings and prosperity in bible scripture? Where are they? What is really required for salvation in Christ Jesus? Do we really have to fight like a soldier in the army of Yahweh God? Do believers in Messiah Yahshua ( aka Yeshua ) really have to run a race like an athlete and exert themselves? Do real Christians walking the straight and narrow path have to work hard like a farmer out in the field to produce good fruit? Why is life as a Messianic believer in Messiah Yahshua often difficult? Welcome one and all, friends, and saints of the Most High YAH. We greet you in the mighty name of Yahshua Messiah ( Jesus Christ ). Psalm 68:4 (NKJV) reads: "Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him". By keeping His Torah as the Holy Spirit leads ( honoring His commands ) and imitating the living Torah ( Christ ), we show our love for our great Elohim. God's grace given to us through our savior Yahshua does not give us license to continue practicing sin ( the breaking of His laws ). 1 John 2:3-4 reads: "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says I know Him, and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him". HalleluYAH
