PA corrections officers charged with selling drugs in Allegheny jail

Raymond Toomey was a Pittsburgh police officer who resigned in 2018 due to an investigation into an excessive force charge caught on cell phone footage. He became a Corrections Officer in December 2019.
On December 10, 2022 an investigation was begun into allegations of selling drugs to inmate. This too was caught on film.
On December 12, 2022 Toomey resigned and turned himself in. He was released without a monetary bond.
