Rural life | Herding cattle

In Africa during the cropping season cows are not allowed to roam around freely. There is an agreed and set time when everybody is allowed to let out their cattle for grazing.

Also during this time the cattle do mt roam around on their own but they are monitored by "vafudzi vemombe" cattle hearders.

Occasionally these cattle hearders put together their cattle and organize turns for herding communal cattle allowing them time to attend to other things when they are off duty.
