Madrid celebrates New Year with traditional San Silvestre Vallecana run

Thousands participated in the traditional San Silvestre Vallecana 10-km street run in Madrid on December 31. Reportedly over 40,000 runners gathered to enjoy the final race of 2022.The race had five distinct starts for different categories. Madrid Mayor Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida and Vice Mayor Begoa Villacs also were present at the event.
