Anime Discussions: Armitage III w/ Myself & Comics

In our next episode of Anime Discussions, Bianca and I talk about one of my other favorite animes. Armitage III

The year is 2046. Detective Ross Sylibus is transferred to Mars when a country singer on her flight is murdered. Making matters more complicated is that the singer is a "Third"—a robot that looks and feels like a human. Sylibus is partnered with Armitage—a beautiful female cop with a bad attitude. As they investigate the murder of the singer and other women on Mars, they uncover a conspiracy that can have them both killed by the Martian government.

Armitage is one of those animes that influenced me big time with a lot of my ideas! My character Jewel is strongly based on her. The idea of androids being so ridiculously human they can actually give birth is not something usually touched on. Add in to the idea that Earth is ruled by a strong Feminist movement...and it almost feels like it predicted a more than possible future.

The action is incredible, the animation is astounding, and the voice acting ranges from serviceable to very good
