The truth will set you free

We have all heard it at some time: "The Truth will set you free." It sounds good but what does it mean that the Truth will set you free? What are we to be free from? What is the truth? How is the Truth going to set us free? Who was it who said that the Truth would set us free?
Do you want to be free? Do you want the truth? There are plenty of lies out there. Deception abounds all around us. Can you even know what the truth is?
There is hope in the darkness. There is light at the end of the tunnel. It may be hard to believe but the answers are there. You can be free if you want to be.
