After spending 3 nights base camping just outside Ouray, we decided it was time to find a new spot to camp for the night. We decided to head to Alta lakes, usually a very crowded place, but with it being early October, it wasn't too busy. We had a special visitor, a bald eagle! What an awesome surprise.
