Drones create largest ‘Happy New Year 2023’ message in UAE sky

The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE welcomed in the New Year with a stunning display of fireworks and drones that broke two Guinness World Records. One was for the number of drones launched simultaneously – 600 compared to previous world record of 458. And the second was for the largest aerial sentence formed by drones.

The display covered a 4.7km (2.9 miles) stretch along the waterfront and lasted 12 minutes.
