My name is Serena and I'm from Tucson Arizona. Am I allowed like you guys am I allowed to say where I live? of course. You're yeah. I mean I would not get too specific. Yes. Just like to protect you. Just don't yeah don't say the address. I mean yes. but can I say the name of the apartment complex? Yes if you want to put them on blast for you know how they're treating you go for it you want to take that risk it's just you know. We go out with a lot of people. Yeah at Coronado Villas Apartments but the white people call it Villas. So Coronado c-o-r-o-n-a-d-o Villas v-i-l-l-a-s. Owned by Takola properties t-o-k-o-l-a. And I'm just sorry I'm like my heart is counting because they're threatening to evict me. I just I literally got an email right before you said that you got my call. And yeah they're threatening to evict me for talking with my neighbors about reported crime in this neighborhood. wow. So for context there was a couple of people creeping outside of my apartment complex a month ago. And it was very traumatizing. And it happened two nights in a row at 11 PM both times. So then I start going door to door telling people about this. And then it turns out that pretty much everyone in my apartment complex has a story about something happening to them. whether it be the people like shining flashlights or Windows or like car burglaries just yeah there's a lot of crime a lot of burglaries or attempted burglaries going on in this neighborhood. So I've been letting people know that. And let me read the email that they just sent to me. But hello Serena we had a couple separate residents come by over the weekend with complaints about somebody knocking on their doors. the details that I received are that a young woman is knocking on doors and presenting neighbors with a photo and a story about Apartment break-ins not being addressed. I have attached the photo being circulated through the community the person. That actually took this photo reported the incident to me over a month ago and is one of the complaining neighbors. He pointed out that he is not the one circulating this photo and he assumes that I got it from like the Nextdoor app. Which he actually sent to me via text. I've talked to this guy so I feel like they're just lying about that.
