Hey Guy’s! Welcome back to my channel. In todays video I’m going to show you how to make Southern Crackling Cornbread. It’s a simple recipe that I use that’s just like my Sweet Cornbread. The only difference is I don’t add sugar less butter and no oil. The cracklings have enough fat already so I don’t add extra.
This is a treat for most of us old country people. I grew up with both of my Grandmothers making Crackling Cornbread. I loved my Grandma Lucille’s best. I can remember being young and getting mad because someone ate the last piece of it when she cooked it.
I hope that you’ll give this recipe a try if you’ve never had it before.
