In the year 1737, a 60 year old woman was accused of witchcraft. For the safety of her children, she agrees to be tried by the people and undergoes the test of "Witch swimming."

If you're interested, the clips I used for b-roll during the reading portions are from the 1922 Swedish silent film, Häxan or "The Witch." The visuals and ingenuity in some of the scenes were too incredible to pass up.
