Yeshua (Jesus) in The Feasts of The LORD: Feast of Weeks/Shavuot/Pentecost

The Feast of Weeks/Shavuot (means ”weeks”)/Pentecost occurs 50 days after Passover. This is the only Feast that does not have a set date, but can only be configured by counting to fifty, or seven full weeks (known as “Counting the Omer”). This Feast celebrates the Wheat Harvest as well as the Giving of The Torah on Mt. Sinai. For Believers in Yeshua, we also know it as the VERY SAME DAY that The Holy Spirit of God, The Living Word (The Living Torah), was poured out upon Believers in Yeshua, and written on hearts. It’s a beautiful Feast (the last of the Spring Feasts), and as always, points to the Restoring Work of our Savior, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).
