Project Blue Beam Test? What's Next? Alien Invasion?

Technology is so advance that this Blue Beam type test can eventually fool people on a global scale. Yes, it's fun, it's remarkable and a great show, but if used as a weapon, it could make thousands, even millions through media reporting think things are happening that is actually not. i.e. War of the Worlds type stuff. We know how that ended? Not so good!
