Timetravel: Part 1

In the year 2060, humans had finally mastered the art of time travel. The government had set up a special agency to handle all time-related matters, and they had strict rules in place to prevent any potential changes to the timeline.

One day, a group of friends decided to go on a time-traveling adventure. They had heard that the best parties were in the 1980s, and they wanted to experience it for themselves.

After obtaining the necessary permissions, the group set their time machine to 1980 and stepped through the portal. They were immediately transported to a dingy bar in New York City, where a live band was playing on stage.

The friends were amazed by the sights and sounds of the 1980s. They danced and sang along to the music, and they even met a group of friendly strangers who showed them around the city.

As the night went on, the friends started to feel a little bit tipsy. They had had a few too many drinks, and they were starting to lose track of time.

Suddenly, they realized that they had completely forgotten to set a return time for their time machine. They panicked, and began frantically searching for the machine, but it was nowhere to be found.

After several hours of searching, the friends finally located the time machine - it was tucked away in a corner, covered in empty beer bottles and pizza boxes. They had accidentally left it there when they first arrived, and it had been hidden from view by all the clutter.

The friends tried to set the return time, but the machine was broken. They were stuck in the past, with no way to get back to the present.
