Kristian Naugle the Shredmaster (December 2022 update)

I decided to do some video recording of the guitar practice on the night of December 19th 2022 going into the early morning of December 20th to show some of the song development ideas I have been working on with the techniques that I've learned. December 18th was actually a better time for me on the guitar than what you see in this video.

However, it's still important to capture my musical progress on camera to showcase and inspire people to further their musical capabilities like I eventually did. My goal is the freedom to kind of paint vivid imagery within the listener's mind as I use music to communicate the imagery of scenery and moods from my mind. I also want to be burning up the fretboard of the electric guitar in a fast fluid artistic mastery like it's a dance floor for my fingers as I'm making beautiful intricate music.

I'm using my 2019 Jackson Pro Series Soloist SL2Q-MAH in the Caribbean Blue Fade with DiMarzio Evolution humbuckers along with my Hughes & Kettner Grandmeister Deluxe 40 guitar amplifier.

I don't even know what musical key or scale I'm playing in because I'm just following a mood that I was put in by the happiness of Animal Crossing New Horizons when I started playing it in late January of 2021 when I began learning how to shred on the electric guitar.

I am very fascinated with physics and I use that as guidance to help inspire me son how to articulate the music I make on the guitar. I don't think of music in a conventional way and I envision various physics scenarios and use that to guide how I make my music sound.

I think you can hear how I accent notes and get a mental picture of things such as stretching Silly Putty, flowing liquid, bending metal, shaping clay, wiggling some goo, maneuvering gracefully in air or water, and fluid dynamics in physics as an influence of how I play music.

But I'm sure you probably hear the influence of Steve Vai in the music I make. It's because I am a big fan of Steve Vai, listen to his music a lot, and got to see Steve Vai in concert back in November of 2022.
