"With a great start in the first weeks of World War I, the Central Powers were able to obtain the initial advantage over France, as the joint American/German Invasion of the nation began to spread North and South, with the Germans taking over most of the North, and the Americans taking over most of the South, during the course as the French fight along the frontiers in hopes of turning the tide of the war, the Americans continued their march through the Southern part of France with the goal of Invading and conquering Reims, the nations most oldest city, while in the North Germany concentrated on moving toward Paris. Since the Invasions of August 3rd, and August 4th, the French army was pushed back on 2 separate fronts, one from the Southeast, the other from the Northeast, while also suffering severe losses in their desperate attempts to maintain their defenses, to the point that by August 13th, 1914 roughly 10 days after the American Invasion, and 9 days after the German Invasion started, the French forces in the South began to amass troops in the Frontier Countryside known as Biel, while also maintaining heavy artillery pieces armored cars and field artillery, in a desperate attempt in hopes of blocking the American Invasion from advancing any closer to Reims."
