Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater says big tech censorship has worsened this year.
“We saw a real expansion of big tech censorship; you’ll remember the big tech clampdown on the truckers' protests in Canada … that’s one big shift we saw this year,” Mr Slater told Sky News Australia.
“In the UK, even the free speech union was deprived of its accounts because it was allegedly some sort of hateful organisation.
“The release of the Twitter Files often can be detailing things we did already suspect or know but really showing how politicised big tech had become.
“In so many respects, big tech censorship has got worse this year.”
