What I Learned Playing Football Under Bill Belichick

Jimmy Farris joins us to talk about his experience playing in the NFL under Bill Belichick, and what made playing for the New England Patriots different than other teams. In 2001, I signed my first NFL contract with the San Francisco 49ers and achieved a goal I set for myself when I was 10 years old. I spent the next 7 years in the NFL, won a Super Bowl with the Patriots, and lived my dream. And then at the age of 30... it was over.

For the next several years, I struggled to find myself again. Can you relate?
I was unsure .... Who was I without football? What was I passionate about? What could I offer the world? How could I make an impact?

I realized that all of those years spent pursuing... realizing... and living the dream of playing Pro Football taught me some incredibly valuable lessons.
Lessons about what it takes to be a high performer, how to consistently be your best, how to come back from failure, and how to become the absolute best version of yourself. I want to share that information with the world and that is why I created Be A Pro.
