These Air Fried Hand Pies Will Blow Your Mind!

These hand pies taste amazing! Since they are cooked in the air fryer they are not greasy like they would be if deep fried in oil. They are also so easy to make! Hope you enjoy them!

Ingredient list:
Pie crust
Pie filling
Glaze (1 c. powdered sugar, 1-2 T. lemon juice)
Egg wash (1 egg, 1 T. water)

Hand Pies Recipe
Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper

Let your dough stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to let it soften a bit.

Dust your surface and rolling pin with flour.

Roll your dough to 1/8" thick. Thinner dough results in a crisper, crunchier crust for your hand pies.

Cut your dough into 6" circles.

Fill your hand pie with 3 tablespoons of fruit filling. If your circles are smaller then use less filling. Do not overfill.

Brush the outside edge with egg wash.

Fold the hand pie over and crimp with a fork to seal well.

Use a knife or fork to make some vents on top.

Place hand pies onto a sheet pan to chill.

Put into refrigerator to chill for 20 mins.

Brush the hand pies with more egg wash.

Set the temperature on your air fryer to 400, let preheat for 5 mins.

Place your hand pies inside the air fryer basket and fry for 13-15 minutes until golden brown and the filling begins to bubble.

Remove hand pies from air fryer and let cool for 10 mins.

Brush a thin layer of glaze over the hand pies and enjoy!
