Jext Telez - Range Lord (Blue Tip Black Glass OC44) - Rickenbacker Fender bass guitar pedal pairing

The Jext Telez blue "Range Lord" pedal is a bass beaut' in a box! This guitar pedal is used on a bass guitar in this video. The reason this pedal is ideal for bass is the bass response it gives. The bass is naturally-occuring, as electricity passing through the germanium transistor has a bass-heavy tuning. This is a NOS 1960's transistor that is heard of but not seen. The name of the featured transistor is the "Blue Tip Black Glass OC44." It is a lauded and seemingly lost link to last century's guitar lick lords. This blue "Range Lord" pedal by Jext Telez is the modern version of the Dallas Rangemaster, which is a now-defunct guitar effect. It was a treble booster that sat atop an amp and boosted treble while also shaping the tone and giving more volume to provide overdrive. Names that used the Dallas Rangemaster include: Jimi Hendrix; Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin); Eric Clapton (featured on an entire album once); Brian May (Queen); Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath); Marc Bolan (T. Rex); Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Jake Kiszka (Greta Van Fleet); & Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra). :—:—:— I mic'd my Ampeg 4x10 solid state stack with a Shure SM7B and a Sennheiser MD421-II. I mic'd my 1981 Panasonic audio cassette tape boombox with yet another Sennheiser MD421-II (I wish I had a pair of Sennheiser MD 441U microphones…). The pedals I paired with the Jext Telez blue Range Lord (Blue Tip Black Glass OC44) are: Jext Telez "White Pedal" V. 2; the aforementioned Panasonic boombox; Electro-Harmonix "Little Big Muff"; Catalinbread "Blood Donor"; Tech 21 "SansAmp"; & the Aguilar "Tone Hammer." :—:—:— I played one of two basses throughout the video (I alternated basses constantly). I played a 1977 Rickenbacker 4001 (I am its third owner) and a 2008 USA Fender Jazz bass (I am its only owner). The picks I used were V-picks. My EQ on my Ampeg amp was flat, and the EQ was set all the way to bass with the vintage Panasonic boombox. :—:—:— Thank you for viewing this video. Please subscribe to my channels online. Please comment the best things under my videos. Please like my good posts. :—:—:— I will pray for America. Please pray for me. God Bless you. :—:—:— This program is brought to you by me (with God's Grace [S.D.G. {Qui Bene Cantat Bis Orat}]). :—:—:— I hope to get another Jext Telez pedal within half a year. Inside of six months, I would love to acquire another Jext Telez gem. I would never turn down folks GIFTING me their Jext Telez jewels. :—:—:— #JextTelez #Rangemaster #Dallas #OC44 #BlackGlass :—:—:— metro-Detroit …… Thursday, December 29th, 2022 Anno Domini
