If you need to be in a chair for any reason, or have some difficulty with balance, or even if your are energy level is too low to stand for a Qigong class, then you can receive Qigong benefits with “Chair Qigong”. These practices can be done with varying degrees of motion depending on your range of flexibility. If you cannot bend forward while in a chair (shown in some movements), then the Qigong movements can be altered so that you bend forward less. It will however be necessary to have a clear space around the chair you choose to use so that your arms and hands do not hit anything. We hope you find this video helpful!
