The ‘Lame Duck’ House Select Committee on January 6 has WITHDRAWN its subpoena of former President Donald Trump! My best guess is that they had not expected to lose the house (and are trying to whittle away at the squeaky thin majority that the G.O.P. has in the lower chamber. But wow. No fight in them? They must have known they wouldn’t have found criminality — or they wouldn’t have “found” criminality in an intel committee controlled by truther firebrand Jim Jordan.
