Using Chickens in the Garden & A New Omlet Eglu Coop: Part 1

If you have a backyard flock (or are thinking about getting one) there are plenty of ways you can put them to work in your garden. This first video in series of 'using chickens in the garden' shows how my chickens created an entire new garden space for me- killing all the grass and weeds, fertilizing the soil and eating up pesky bugs that would have otherwise ended up in the garden. I also show the new coop they received as their reward for all that hard work- the Omlet Eglu Chicken Coop with a 9 foot run. Stay tuned for updates on how I use the Eglu as a portable chicken tractor- allowing targeted placement of my chickens' efforts to create more garden spaces, tackle weeds and pests and collect manure for garden fertilizer.
