This video is our version of New Zealand Earthquake News. The Updates for today show 61 earthquakes today, which occurred in the last 24 hours. There were 492 earthquakes this past week. We'll be sure to discuss the earthquake magnitudes for North Island New Zealand and South Island New Zealand.

We also further discuss the earthquakes near Whakatane near the Moutohora Island Volcano, which is now classified as extinct. There is also a 3.9 magnitude earthquake that over 200 people felt near Hamilton Waikato New Zealand that we'll review and more.

The Lake Taupo Volcano has had earthquakes this past week and we provide the current status of the volcano. We also discuss the current status of the White Island Volcano. We'll identify extinct volcanoes that currently have experienced an earthquake.

North Island New Zealand has many earthquakes that have occurred in the southern region of the island. We take a snapshot view and discuss the magnitudes. We also discuss the earthquakes near Hawera New Zealand, Christchurch New Zealand, Inglewood New Zealand, Wellington New Zealand, The Bay of Plenty, and Cook Strait in New Zealand. Many earthquakes have occurred in North Island New Zealand this past week and we will discuss them.

New Zealand has experienced a great deal of shore and offshore earthquakes. The earthquake magnitudes vary over the course of the week. Between North Island New Zealand, and South Island New Zealand, on and offshore, this area experienced 492 earthquakes in the past week.
