Stairing Match 2001

Over 20 years ago I created this short film whilst learning how to animate. It's rough around the edges and was drawn in the style of 'Rhubarb and Custard' (an animation from the 1970s/1980s).

The 45 second repeat took an entire semester to create - with over 1,000 drawings, each individually drawn and coloured.

I was proud to receive a FIRST for this piece - probably due to the amount of hours that went into it. If I remember correctly, the last couple of weeks before the deadline were spent working on this non-stop. A few all-nighters and lots of alcohol went into this.

After finding the old VHS it was saved onto I managed to get it transferred onto a USB. At least now, someone might actually get to see it.
