SpaceX Launches Batch Of Gen2 Starlink Satellites In Record 60th Launch This Year

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the first batch of 54 generation 2 (Gen2) Starlink satellites on Dec. 28, 2022 at 0934 UTC, from the Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The first stage of the rocket landed at sea several minutes after separation, on SpaceX's drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas in the Atlantic Ocean.
