Rick Monroe and the Hitmen - Let's Get Drunk (Lyric Video)

"Let’s Get Drunk" was written just the way you’d expect it would be, late at night while having a few beers at the end of recording session. We started talking about that there are no songs just called “Let’s Get Drunk” it’s usually let’s get drunk and do something that’s when Alan Beeler started playing the main riff and we said that would be perfect. We wrote the basic idea and then it sat around for a couple months until Alan Beeler, Brandon Britton and I dug it back up to finish off for the “Lead Burns Red" album. I love how we were able to mix traditional country with the big rock party anthem and for those who don't drink there are a lot of things in life that you can get "drunk" on!
