Hey everybody! Episode 101 of the show is out. This was an interview that my friend Angell Deer did for his podcast, The Sanctuary, also the name of his shamanic healing center in upstate New York where my colleague Merav Artzi and myself have been running retreats the last two years. In this interview, Angell interviews Merav and myself on our background stories, our work with tobacco and tree medicines, the process of working with plants in a dieta, what the benefits of this work are, and how the process unfolds on the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. “At an early age, I left my home country of Israel to study fine arts in Europe. In 2009, while traveling in South America, I decided to go to the Amazon.
