Sumba Hornbill

An endemic hornbill species that only occurs on the island of Sumba, Indonesia. This species is a large bird that usually lives in the forest canopy. The characteristics of the Sumba hornbill are small and black in color, with a long, all-black tail. The head and neck are brick red with blue throat skin, serrated cassava and pale yellow beak.
