D1 Comparing the Development of Tauchain to Traditional Open-Source Software Models #shorts

Question: How do you compare development over Tauchain, to the models used by the existing open-source software industry?
Answer: Tau is indeed an open-source project. But it's much more than that because it is a fully decentralized project. In open-source projects, developers control the code and people need to trust the developers. But on Tau, once Tau is ready, I will be just like any other participant. The network is built equally by the people. There is no central authority, not even about the code of Tau itself. And this indeed goes to another important feature of Tau, that it describes its own code, its own protocol, from block to block, while the code can change in the meanwhile. Of course, doing it naively will make the network break very fast. But since we use decidable logic, we can assert that only the code that meets the basic network requirements is allowed to be in the next block.
