China carried out simulation attack on Taiwan

China has carried out major military drills off the coast of Taiwan in response to what they claim was a provocation from the self-ruled island and the US.
The strike drills involved 71 aircraft and seven navy vessels as they were detected near Taiwan over the past 24 hours.
47 of those aircraft had crossed the medium line of the Taiwan Strait; some entered Taiwan’s southwest air defence identification zone, an area that is not officially Taiwanese territory.
