Long lines formed in William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, as the airport entered emergency operations mode following mass flight cancellations on December 26, the Houston Chronicle reported. Timelapse footage from Twitter user @sweasy187 shows long lines snaking through the airport. Hobby Airport said buses were shuttling affected Southwest Airlines customers to local hotels as the airline’s flight cancellations left people stranded across the country.
