This is a Masquerade called Eere in Ijebu kingdom in Lagos Nigeria, The myth behind it is that ( rainfall) and when you look up you will see the cloud is changing like a rainfall, Rain must not touch it, else it will turn to a real snake and crawl away...Its a well respected masquerade that no other masquerade must dance when it is dancing, and 6 other masquerade always lead it out.
