The Tunic achievement guide showing how to defeat the Siege Engine boss and collect the Red Key needed for the Deep in the Forest achievement/trophy.

The Siege Engine boss fight will take time and patience. It has a weak point in the front and the back (will do more damage). When you attack from the front, be ready to dodge melee and ranged attacks. It's recommended that you hit it from behind. Ranged attacks with the Fire Wand are best used after the Siege Engine drops below 50%.

After it summons 3 fire minions, either take them out at range or plan to run/dodge when they come near you. Use the environment when possible for cover to heal. Once the boss is defeated, pick up the key and use it to collect the Red Key for the achievement/trophy. Lastly, head to the temple to turn in the key.
