Tesla showed a prototype humanoid robot Optimus

Tesla Bot, also known as Optimus[1], is a general-purpose humanoid robot concept developed by Tesla, Inc. It was presented at the AI Day event on August 19, 2021. Working prototypes of the robot were presented on September 30, 2022.
Tesla Bot is 177 cm tall and weighs 73 kg (initially 173 cm and 57 kg in the presentation) and is able to move at a speed of up to 4 km/h (up to 8 km/h in the presentation). Instead of a face, the robot has a display. According to the presentation made during the AI Day event, the Tesla Bot will have a load capacity of up to 20 kg and will be “controlled by the same artificial intelligence system that Tesla is developing for the ADAS system used in its cars”[2].

The robot is offered tasks that are considered "dangerous, repetitive and boring" for a person, for example, production assistance[3].
