This footage shows US Coast Guard pollution responders monitoring the response to an oil spill in offshore Texas caused by a cracked pipeline.

The oil spill reportedly occurred in the La Quinta Channel in Corpus Christi Bay, USA, on 25th December.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from the US Coast Guard District 8, along with a statement: "Pollution responders estimated up to 3,800 gallons of light crude oil entered the water from a cracked pipeline near the Flint Hills Ingleside facility."
