Q: What are the tokenomics for Agoras? Can Agoras be a collateral you need to hold in order to make usage of the Tauchain offering on a Tier based structure?
A: Tau, the way we make it will not require any kind of coins, whether or not it requires coins will be up to the users. Yes of course it’s a self-defining system. The system is defined by users and I estimate that users will indeed decide so because submitting an opinion and at least an opinion that one wants to be taken into account by the whole network and be taken into account in decisions that affect the whole network, like changing Tau itself. If everyone can submit their opinion, too many computational resources will be needed in order to compute the consensus, so I would guess that it might be the case that people will need to pay some transaction fee in order for the network to not lose by investing so many computational resources in order to calculate the consensus. And also to prevent people from sending opinions that don’t really matter to them.
