The third piece of advice given in Nourishment is 'Occasionally Don't Eat'.

Fasting is the complete cessation of food but is more complicated than just not eating. It involves how long one doesn't eat, what they eat right before and after fasting, what they are doing during, the signs to look for indicating success or a need to stop.

What works for one person may not work for another. You have to LEARN HOW TO FAST before giving up food.
