The Serviced Accommodation sector also known as Short Stay and Airbnb model currently lacks any real regulation. There are very few rules in place in terms of what you can and cannot do, meaning that anyone can set up an SA business anywhere. However, all that is about to change. The Government has been looking closely at this sector and they are looking to control and even shut down how some of these businesses are being operated.
