On 5th June 2017, a tidally-locked exoplanet KELT 9b was discovered. The planet is so far the hottest exoplanet ever found. KELT 9b orbits very close to its sun as a result the surface of KELT 9b sizzles at 4300 degrees celsius which makes KELT 9b as hot as several stars. KELT 9b has Iron and titanium in its atmosphere.
