Angel of Christmas Glory

Angel of Glory!

It was Christmas Eve when I placed the angel on the top of our tree.
I thought of the angels who announced the birth of Jesus --
With tidings of great joy, “Hark the herald angels sing,
Glory to the newborn King”.

Though only fashioned of cloth and assorted manmade materials,
It reminded me that Jesus loves us in all ways--
Whether we are clothed in elegant riches, or dirty rags,
We are each the same to Him.

Hallelujah! He loves us all!
