FULL EVENT: "We Will Continue to Fight": Bronx Residents Rally to Oppose Throggs Neck Upzoning

On April 27, 2022, members of the community rallied at the Icehouse Cafe in Throggs Neck to voice their opposition to a proposed mixed-use property development in Throggs Neck. The Bruckner Boulevard development would require an amendment to the current zoning of the low-density Throggs Neck section of the Bronx, which opponents say will open the door to additional upzoning and overdevelopment.
