In Spain it’s typical to find a daily menu, which includes a starter, main course, drink and dessert for a very reasonable price.

Restaurante Carlos is located near Plaza Constitution and offers a full menu of Spanish cuisine. Minutes from the Spain/Gibraltar border, if you are wanting to try or have some Spanish food, Restaurante Carlos is your place!

The quality and freshness of the food is evident, the service was prompt, and everything came out hot. The Roquefort sauce on the pork loin was excellent. The gazpacho had great flavor.

The menu is displayed in both English and Spanish so it makes ordering easier if you don’t know all the words in Spanish.

Keep in mind drinks included could be a beer, wine, water, or soda. There may also be other options. I like when they don’t skimp on the drink and include beer and wine as an option.

Most of the time restaurants that offer a daily menu will let you swap out the dessert for a coffee, don’t be afraid to ask if you’d prefer coffee.

If you are visiting La Linea or Gibraltar and you’d like to try an authentic Spanish meal this would be a good spot to check out.
