KPOP girl cover dance. Remixed soundtrack. Hong Kong's TDPG in Causeway Bay. 9 May 2022

We encountered these girls dancing In the Fashion Walk, the pedestrian shopping street in Causeway Bay, while we returning from dinner at Din Tai Fung. I was impressed with their choreography, energy, and synergy. They gave a lot to the crowd who was watching. You can see other people filming them. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to upload the KPOP track they were using: copyright did not allow this. So I dug around to find music that might 'fit' their dance. I suppose this means my video is an interpretation, an adaptation. Gettting a good angle filming the dancers was difficult due to the crowd of observers and other people filming directly in front of the performers. I managed to get this shot with my girlfriend stood in front of me, resting my elbows on her shoulders. Great entertainment on a quiet holiday Monday. Notice how good each of the five dancers are: great moves, great timing, cool masks. I was especially happy with the colour in the mise en scene for this video clip. I could see the light was good. I just took one take and this is how it turned out. I can't help thinking there is something a bit mysterious about the new synchronicity of the track they're not dancing to and their movements combined. I tried about a thousand other combinations, none of which worked.
